Favourites Racing is one of the brightest and most successful racehorse ownership groups in the country. We provide shares in carefully selected horses, so the thrill of owning a winning racehorse is within the grasp of almost everyone. We take all the hassle out of ownership, leaving you with all the fun and excitement.
- You can visit your horse as often as you like at the trainer's yard; watch it on the gallops or relaxing in its stable while you talk to your trainer about your chances in forthcoming races
- You will also receive the personal support and advice of our Racing Manager and our highly professional racing team; we will keep you completely up-to-date with your horse's progress and likely running plans
- On race day you can enter the paddock at the racecourse and watch your horse in the parade ring before the race - each shareholder will receive an owner's badge every time their horse runs
- Go to the Owners Stand to watch your horse run and, with a bit of luck, return to the Winner's Enclosure to welcome it in
- In previous seasons our owners have had runners and winners at many of the top meetings including the Cheltenham Festival, Aintree Grand National Meeting, Chester May Meeting, Epsom Derby Meeting, Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood
At Favourites Racing we treat each individual shareholder as if they were the sole owner of the horse, which means that most people who have tried racehorse ownership with us are still involved today.
We can't guarantee you a winner at Cheltenham or Goodwood, but we can guarantee you'll have a great time; you'll meet like-minded people, forge friendships and share in the highs and lows of racehorse ownership!
What does it cost?We provide 25% shares in our horses, and these start from £6000 plus VAT. In addition, there is a monthly charge per share to cover training fees, veterinary & farrier costs, transport costs, gallop fees, entry fees to the races, jockeys' riding fees, registration costs, plus other incidental expenses.

VATAlthough VAT is payable on both training fees and share purchase, Favourites Racing is able to recover this VAT on your behalf through Weatherbys and the Sponsorship Framework for Racehorse Owners. Unfortunately, VAT is not recoverable on horses trained in Ireland.

Our full time Racing Manager has been involved in horseracing for over 35 years and has an excellent reputation within the sport. Our office support team are experts in customer service and will do their utmost to make sure your experience of racehorse ownership is as much fun as it can be.
