Rafella (IRE)
First season sire Iffraaj won no fewer than seven races (5f/7f) including the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood and the Park Stakes at Doncaster both Group 2 races and he was second in the highly competitive Darley July Stakes at Newmarket Group 1.The dam Cappella won two races herself over 5f as a two year old and she has produced four individual winners of 11 races to date.
This filly is well grown and she too is bred to be a two year old winner. She is in training with Classic winning trainer Ralph Beckett Favourites Racing's newest recruit to our trainers. Ralph trains at the historic Whitsbury Stables in Hampshire and he picked her out on our behalf at the Doncaster Festival sale.
After three runs and being slowly away in all her races Rafella finallly came good and won in convincing style at Lingfield. Now she has got the hang of racing there could be a lot more to come from ths progressive daughter of Iffraaj.
