Emma Lavelle
One of Britain's youngest and most promising trainers, Emma has had a licence since the ripe old age of 25 and operates from excellent facilities near Andover in Hampshire. In her relatively short career, Emma has trained plenty of winners and boasts a winners to runners strike rate that any trainer would be proud of.
She has also proved that she knows how to train good horses when they come along, with the likes of Cloudy Grey, Palua and Odagh Odyssey providing some memorable moments, but Emma is perhaps best known for producing Self Defense to finish fourth in the Champion Hurdle as a novice in 2003.
